What is your cancellation policy?
I understand situations may arise that will require you to miss a scheduled appointment. If you are unable to make your appointment, please contact me no later than 48 hours before the appointment time.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are subject to a $75 cancellation fee with the exception of illness or an emergency. Missed appointments are subject to a $75 no-show fee.
Appointment reminders are available via text and email through the Client Portal.
Please note that insurance will not cover the cost of late cancellations or no-shows.
What are your office hours and where are you located?
I am currently in the office Tuesday-Friday 9am – 4pm.
Please note that I will not be available on weekends and holidays. I will return texts, emails, and phone calls within 48 hours during business hours.
My office is located in the South Bay Suites building in Fairhaven at 1140 10th Street, Suite 221 in Bellingham, WA.
What is the cost?
I charge $145 for a 50-minute individual counseling appointment.
If you do not want to go through insurance and/or cannot afford the full rate I offer a “pay what you can” scale from $100-$145.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, credit card, and HSA. Payment is due at the time of service. Please note that it is my policy to keep a credit card on file for all clients.
What insurance do you accept?
I currently accept Regence, Premera, Cigna, and Aetna.
For all other insurances I am considered an out-of-network provider, meaning you may use your out-of-network insurance benefits for possible reimbursement. Please note that the full cost of the session will still be due at the time of service. If you would like to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement, I will provide a Superbill for you.
I recommend you contact your insurance company to receive more information about possible reimbursement before your intake appointment.
What is the scope of your care?
I am unable to provide counseling services in between scheduled appointments. I am mindful of the limitations of my practice schedule and due to this, I may be unable to work with clients who require more regular contact and availability or are experiencing more acute challenges.
It is my priority to be clear about my scope of practice and my limitations. Should I feel I cannot provide the level of care you require, I will be intentional about offering appropriate referrals to other providers who may be better suited to meet your needs.
